BC Place

BC Place is located at 777 Pacific Boulevard Vancouver BC Canada V6B 4Y8, and is home to the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League.

BC Place, a multipurpose stadium, is situated on the north side of False Creek in Vancouver, British Columbia. It was the largest air-supported stadium in the world when it was first built, and is owned and operated by PavCo (BC Pavilion Corporation), a Crown Corporation of the government in the Province of British Columbia.

BC Place has been the home to the BC Lions of the CFL since 1983. In 1986 it opened and closed Vancouver’s Expo 86, and in 2010 was the host venue to the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games and the Opening Ceremony of the 2010 Winter Paralympic Games.

In April 2010, the stadium closed for renovations and the installation of a new retractable roof, to be completed by late 2011.
