Fouts Field is the stadium of the University of North Texas, located in Denton, Texas, United States. It is primarily used for football, and is the home field of the University of North Texas Eagles, also known as the Mean Green.

    Fouts Field should have “late, great” in front of it because…North Texas is now in its 3′rd year at their LEEDS Platinum Certified Apogee Stadium; that is, a stadium that former Dallas Cowboy SuperScout Gil Brandt’ called “a Taj Mahal of a college football stadium and I’ve seen them all in the USA.”

    The same architect firm and even construction company that built the Dallas Cowboys $1 billion dollar football palace were employed by the University of North Texas to build a smaller version as an on campus stadium for the Denton, Texas-based university of almost 40,000 students. On September 10, 2011, North Texas debuted its new stadium against University of Houston Cougars before a near capacity crowd as seen in excerpts of the YouTube video below;
