Lucas Oil Stadium is a sports stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. Lucas Oil Stadium opened on August 24, 2008, with an NFL game where the Colts played the Buffalo Bills. Lucas Oil Stadium replaced replaced the RCA Dome as the home field of the NFL's Indianapolis Colts. The stadium is scheduled to host Super Bowl XLVI in 2012. The building features a retractable roof and window wall, allowing the Colts to play outdoors.
