About

Opened in 2005, the Allianz Arena is the home of Bayern Munich. Its façade is made up of 2,784 inflated cushions, already visible as you approach the ground. With more than 75,000 seats, it hosts the matches of the club founded in 1900.

The guided tour takes you from the dressing rooms to the players' tunnel, the press room, the Südkurve and the edge of the pitch. It then continues into the museum. Allow two hours to two and a half hours. No tours run on home match days or during certain events.

Did you know?

The Allianz Arena is famous as the home of the mighty Bayern Munich, but it is less well known that it also staged the matches of TSV 1860 Munich, right from the 2005-06 season. The sky-blue and white side left the 75,000-seat ground in 2017, undone by sporting and financial troubles, and now play in the fourth tier. A return is not on the cards: Bayern, sole owners of the venue since 2006, have closed the door for good.
