Opened in 1937, De Kuip is the home of Feyenoord Rotterdam. Het Legioen, as the club's supporters are known, fills stands that sit right on top of the pitch. The ground hosted the Euro 2000 final and still stages the Dutch Cup final today.
The De Kuip guided tour lasts an hour and a half. It takes in both the current and the old players' tunnel, the edge of the pitch, the dressing rooms and one of the stands. The Feyenoord Museum rounds off the visit with the club's major trophies, historic memorabilia and a timeline devoted to the story of Feyenoord and De Kuip.
This is the stadium where France were crowned European champions in 2000. They beat Italy 2-1 in the final, thanks to a golden goal from striker David Trezeguet.
