Estadio Monumental David Arellano

Colo-Colo's Monumental has had two inaugurations. The stadium was first opened on 20 April 1975, but the club played only five more matches there because the facilities were not up to standard. The ground was completed and inaugurated in its final form on 30 September 1989, with a 2-1 win over Peñarol. Two years later, Colo-Colo lifted the Copa Libertadores here, the only one ever won by a Chilean club.

The Paseo Monumental combines a guided tour of about an hour with the Museo Colo-Colo. The route takes in the press room, the memorials, the Champions' Tunnel and the David Arellano pitch. The museum brings together trophies, historic shirts, player archives and audiovisual material.
