Did you know?
Among these memorable matches in Granada, one remains etched in the history of Spanish football. It happened at the Nuevo Los Cármenes on 25 March 2011, in a game against the Czech Republic. That day, Spanish striker David Villa became the national team's all-time leading scorer. He netted both of Spain's goals that evening, moving past the record of 44 goals set by Spanish football legend Raúl.
