About

Opened in 1996, the Johan Cruijff ArenA is Ajax's home ground. Located in the Bijlmermeer district, it has staged major European occasions, including the 1998 Champions League final and matches at Euro 2000. Today it bears the name of Johan Cruyff, the former Ajax player and manager.

The self-guided tour takes you through the players' tunnel, the pitch, the dugouts, the main stand, the mixed zone, the press room, the Ajax dressing room and the Gallery of Fame. A guided tour is also available.

Did you know?

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who wore the Ajax shirt between 2001 and 2004 and scored 48 goals in 110 games, has a real soft spot for the Johan Cruyff ArenA. Beyond his many strikes for the Lancers, he came back there with AC Milan (finding the net in 2010) and Paris Saint-Germain (2014). Enough to know one of the finest grounds on the planet inside out.
