About
The Philips Stadion stands on the very spot where PSV's forerunner played its first match in 1911. Two years later, Philips employees founded PSV. The stadium's name recalls those industrial roots, and the ground holds 35,000 spectators.
The classic tour lasts about 1 hr 15 min and takes in the pitch, the refurbished players' tunnel and the dressing rooms. English-language tours run on Wednesdays and Saturdays. PSV also puts on matchday tours, as well as ninety-minute group visits for fifteen people or more. The PSV Museum displays the club's trophies, memorabilia, photographs and video archives.
Did you know?
Founded in 1913, PSV Eindhoven have played in the Dutch top flight without a break since 1926. Just one season spent in the second tier in more than a century of existence. Remarkable!
