About

Opened on 2 April 1974 as the Westfalenstadion, the Signal Iduna Park was built for the World Cup that Germany hosted the same year. It is home to Borussia Dortmund, and its Südtribüne is better known as the "Yellow Wall".

The self-guided tour takes you to the South Stand, the dressing room, the mixed zone and the bench. It is not available on home match days or on the day before a home match.

Did you know?

Signal Iduna Park is a regular fixture at the top of the table for average attendance over a season. In the 2013-2014 campaign, for instance, an average of 80,297 fans packed into the stands. To put that in perspective, that is roughly 30,000 more than at the Vélodrome!
