About

In 1892, Celtic left their first ground and moved to a site beside the Eastern Necropolis, where Celtic Park stands today. It is that move which gave rise to the nickname "Paradise". As early as the 1890s, the club won four league titles and two Scottish Cups there.

The guided tour lasts an hour and takes in the boardroom, the first-team dressing room, the tunnel and the bench. It also includes a look at the club's trophies. From Monday to Thursday, tours depart at 11am and 1.30pm. On Friday, they leave at 11am, 1.30pm, 3.30pm and 4.30pm. On Saturday and Sunday, tours run every thirty minutes from 10am to 3.30pm.

Did you know?

Celtic Park's attendance record dates back to 1 January 1938 and a meeting between Celtic and their great rivals Glasgow Rangers. That day, 83,500 spectators packed into the ground's stands, while some 10,000 more were left outside the gates. Simply staggering.
